I am currently recovering from corona. Though I don’t have it as bad as he does, he is on the point at how it gets better and all of a sudden gets worse. One day I felt fine, the next day i felt my lungs were on fire.
I have been living the whole lockdown time in china, I can’t appreciate more for what the chinese authority and the people did for us(foreigners in China) to assist us anyway they could. you are describing exactly how it was for me last year from November to the start of January this year, which is scary because I’ve not travelled abroad in 7 years and I live in the UK but had no knowledge of this virus at the time. I genuinely thought I was going to die in the pneumonia stage. I nearly always have a cold but at the start of November I got an awfully sore throat and a terrible cough and fever. After about 1-2 weeks I went to see a doctor but the flu test was negative so I was told to just get plenty of rest and drink water. It got a little better for a few weeks and then the day after Christmas I woke up and was aching all over, couldn’t breathe and my cough had come back way worse and had a high fever. I was constantly taking my inhaler and felt like I was on deaths door for a week. There were times which I would wake up unable to breathe and I would have to pump my inhaler until my lungs opened up again. I really should’ve called a doctor at those times but it was just after Christmas and I thought they will just say the same as they did last time, also everyone who had contact with me had it too so I didn’t want to leave and risk spreading it (my nan and my boyfriend had it). Then I got better and haven’t had much problems since.

I felt so sad for all the people who couldn’t get home. They just stopped all transportation and they were stranded. I couldn’t imagine how scary that could be fore people…especially elders or young families with children. Who would you do? We had notice of a quarantine…time to get supplies and get safely home. Heartbreaking for the world, no matter what your age or race. Six weeks later, we are still in a state of quarantine in Canada to protect our citizens. I had the same thing in november, just before Thanksgiving. I recovered, but I couldnt breath. The doctor gave me an emergency nebulizer treatment, and an inhaler. I believe that I got a strain of corona before it hit mainstream news. I believe many people did. Jist like this man.

Had the normal flu and I got better and afterwords I got stuck with a slight fever and dry cough where I was feeling short of breath and constant tiredness. I went to the hospital and they did a blood test on me, a few days later I received a phone call from the doctor telling me I tested positive for coronavirus but it’s a mild one that it can be treated just like a normal cold. So now am at home taking care of myself. Please pray for me so it goes away and doesn’t get worst. Thank you.

This just in, Tom Hanks who tested positive for the virus has just been discharged from hospital. His total time of isolation was no more than 5 days. Clearly, this virus affects different people differently. Btw, I think we have more to fear from the media drumming fear into us than this virus. Just a thought. I had all that about three years ago. Visited a car parts store to get some wheel bearings, the one staff member was busy and said the rest were of sick. Got home fitted my bearings and got sick three days later. Worst thing I remember is being so tired because I was scared of falling asleep, when I started to drift off my airway would block and I’d stop breathing until I’d woke up with a fright gasping for breath. This would happen over and over again. Ended up sleeping sat upright at a table with pillows in front to hold me upright. Took 7 days to start feeling a little better and 10 days before I felt well enough to do anything. Was unable to eat and drinking water was difficult.

Back in December over Christmas, I had a winter cold but it was nothing serious and a week later I had recovered. Later in January, I got the flu. Not the worst but I felt pretty cruddy, and again I recovered a few weeks later. In February I was at my worst, the worst throat infection I’ve had in years actually with symptoms ranging from pounding headache, vomiting, fatigue and sinus problems. Now I’m asking myself « have I already had it or was that just seasonal flu? »
I work on a hospital ward was due to go to Thailand yesterday but covid 19 has blown up and I’m now ill. I’ve had a sore throat for a week, got a dry cough 5 days ago then major sinus congestion, runny nose and fatigue. No temperature yet. Anxious as to whether it’ll become sinister.

We the people shouldn’t have to suffer for something we had nothing to do with I don’t know if this is a virus thing or a politic thing ! But this has nothing to do with us ! I had these exact symptoms in December. Started with a cold then got better turned to flu like symptoms that got better then went to hell like symptoms and I finally got over it after a little over a month

With all due respect: maybe those first symptoms before you got tested were just a cold and then as you got better somebody passed you the covid 19. People don’t need to be confusing their symptoms and panicking.
I have had what I think is pretty severe and extreme in symptoms. I made a few videos and I’m trying to find out if my symptoms are normal or extreme. And is this thing almost done or will it be longer? Anyone knowledgeable of these symptoms I’m dealing with?

Wear a mask if you’re sick and going to go seek medical help. Where I live, they discourage us from going to the doctor or hospital and instead have us call a number where you can talk to someone about your symptoms and if they think it’s appropriate they’ll make an appointment for you to get tested at a designated site.
There are studies out there saying vitamin d can lesson the severity of a respiratory illness. Look it up. Most people are vitamin d deficient due to the use of sunblock. Like I said look it up. The study was done a few years ago.

Here in Germany we have tried three times to get tested as my husband and I have chest pains after having fever. Not the hospital or our doctor said they would test us out. They said no and just asked us to remain at home. We are non smokers and live a healthy life, however we do live in a country with many cases and until last week we were working normally…
